WHAT IS GAELIC FOOTBALL?

Gaelic Football, commonly referred to as "Gaelic", is a distinctly Irish game played with a round football which can be caught, kicked and hand passed. It is played between two teams of 15 players (typically 13 for the USGAA) on a rectangular grass pitch. The objective of the sport is to score by kicking or punching the ball into the other team's goals (3 points) or between two upright posts above the goals and over a crossbar(1 point).

Gaelic has been played in Cincinnati since 2014. Our Club competes in the USGAA's Midwest Division against clubs from Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Detroit and Buffalo. We also maintain a healthy rivalry with USGAA Heartland Division's Indianapolis GAA.
